Know Your Candidate This new tool from Google provides voters with relevant information about Lok Sabha candidates in each constituency, as well as their incumbent Member of Parliament. The website sources data from the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), PRS Legislative Research and Liberty Institute India to provide information for each sitting Lok Sabha MP and contesting candidates such as their educational background, financial details, social media presence, and video bios. Mapped onto the Google Maps interface, citizens will be able to find information by pin code or by zooming into their locality. The tool, updated regularly, will provide data about candidates as they get finalized and will be made available at least a week before the voting day in each constituency.
